I’ve started a personal quest to try as many root beers as possible and find out which one is the best. Today’s root beer is Dr. Brown’s Draft Style Root Beer.
The first thing I noticed is just how carbonated it is. I like the carbonation. I don’t drink sodas that often and so when I have one, I really want a lot of carbonation. Secondly, on smell I noticed a strong hint of wintergreen, not a fan of that. The taste is pretty decent. The wintergreen flavor is almost too overpowering. I think it was a good beer to start with.
I also feel like it has some strong similarities to white birch beer from the Northeast. Overall, not bad, looking forward to better ones though.
